Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities

Wage Payment: Employee rights include:- Spend for all salaries earned (INFO # 3) at the rate concurred to by the employer and worker.

Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations

Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you incomes, you can send your company a composed need for payment of salaries by mail, email, text, or other electronic means. A written need may be sent out to the company at the exact same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue wages is filed with the Division. Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and reviewed, a letter explaining the nature of the grievance and the quantities declared to be owed is sent out to the company. Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): The Division may perform employer-wide direct examinations of possible infractions of Colorado wage and hour law. If you want to submit an individual claim for unpaid salaries, you need to submit a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website. To appeal a direct investigation citation or one or more Notices of Assessment, an alleged company might send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
