Not only does getting vaccinated protect you from getting sick, but it also helps to protect those around you, including those who may be more vulnerable to serious illness from COVID-19, such as older adults or those with underlying health conditions. As more people get vaccinated, it becomes harder for the virus to spread, which helps to reduce the overall number of cases and deaths from COVID-19.
